Marinated – if you prefer more umami-flavored tangy cucumbers, which are marinated with vinegar.
Fermented – if you enjoy freshly fermented refreshing cucumbers, which are incredibly tasty to eat with honey.

2-3 (depending on the jar size) | Large cucumbers |
3 cloves | Garlic |
Bunch | Dill |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Honey |
¾ cup | Hot water (depending on the jar size) |
Marinated Cucumbers: | |
2-3 (depending on the jar size) | Large cucumbers |
3 cloves | Garlic |
Bunch | Dill |
¼ cup | Vinegar |
¾ cup | Hot water (depending on the jar size) |
Accodring to your taste | Chili flakes |

First, place the sliced cucumbers into a clean jar.

Add dill, crushed garlic, a teaspoon of salt, and honey (for fermented ones), vinegar (for marinated ones).

Pour in hot water and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator (for marinated, a couple of hours will suffice).
