Sourced from one of the world’s finest Matcha regions, our Matcha is renowned for its freshness and quality, making it easy to make authentic Japanese tea or the much-loved creamy matcha latte at home.
Unlike most matcha on the market, which is prepared in bulk and stored for months, our matcha is ground to order. Over time, matcha can oxidize, affecting its color and flavor.
To ensure you get the freshest matcha possible, we work directly with our farm in Japan, where each batch is freshly stone-ground. It’s packaged on-site and flown to Lithuania promptly. This unique process guarantees that when it reaches you, it’s bursting with vibrant color, a delicate aroma, and a rich, smooth flavor – just as matcha should be.
How is classic matcha different from ceremonial matcha?
Both types of matcha are packed with antioxidants, caffeine, and L-theanine, providing smooth, steady energy that helps you stay focused without the crash - perfect for both productive work and creative activities.
Ceremonial matcha comes from the youngest leaves, hand-picked during the first harvest in early spring. Classic matcha, on the other hand, is made from leaves harvested later in the season.
Ceremonial matcha is meant to be savored as a traditional tea, prepared simply with water, while classic matcha is perfect for blending into matcha lattes or mixing to smoothies, desserts, porridges, and yogurts.
While ceremonial matcha has a mild, slightly sweeter flavor profile, classic matcha offers a bolder, earthy taste, thanks to the riper leaves.
The journey from the farm
Grown in the Kyoto region
This is one of the best matcha growing regions in the world - it uses traditional green tea growing methods and has optimal weather and soil conditions for matcha production.
Exceptionally fresh
The leaves are dried naturally and ground in stone mills to our specifications - always fresh. They are then immediately packaged on the farm and flown to Lithuania to preserve the nutritional qualities, colour and flavour of Matcha.
Suitable for beginners and gourmets
Matcha that meets high quality standards allows you to enjoy a smooth taste, a rich aroma and a refreshing drink that gives you balanced energy.
Benefits of matcha
With a smooth taste - stable energy and productivity
Many people have swapped coffee for matcha because of its steady energy – instead of the rapid release of caffeine followed by a rapid release of energy like a cup of coffee, matcha’s energy is released more slowly and evenly.
Benefits
A natural boost for energy and focus: unlike coffee, matcha provides a steady release of energy. Its natural caffeine content is balanced by L-theanine, an amino acid that slows the absorption of caffeine, preventing spikes and crashes. This results in a smooth, long-lasting energy boost that enhances focus and alertness while keeping you calm and relaxed.
A source of antioxidants. Matcha is naturally rich in antioxidants, which help protect cells from oxidative stress and support overall well-being.

Matcha comes from the Kyoto region of Japan – one of the best matcha-producing regions in the world.
How many cups of matcha can I drink per day?
A cup of matcha contains about 40-60 mg of caffeine. It is recommended not to exceed 400 mg of caffeine per day.
Does matcha have caffeine?
Yes, matcha contains about 40-60 mg of caffeine per serving, but unlike coffee, matcha also contains the amino acid L-theanine. It slows down the release of caffeine – softening its effects and promoting relaxation.
Instead of the quick caffeine spike followed by an energy crash, like with coffee, the energy from matcha is released more slowly and steadily. This is why matcha provides a sense of calm alertness. Additionally, caffeine and L-theanine working together can help improve focus for tasks that require cognitive effort.
Can matcha be used during pregnancy and lactation?
It is not recommended to exceed 150-200mg of caffeine per day during pregnancy. A cup of matcha contains about 40-60mg of caffeine, so it can be used in moderation if your doctor does not suggest giving up caffeine completely.
How is classic matcha different from ceremonial matcha?
The main difference between these types of matcha is the harvest. Ceremonial matcha is made from the youngest leaves, harvested during the early spring's first crop. Classic matcha leaves are picked during the second harvest. Ceremonial matcha is meant to be consumed as tea, simply by adding water. Classic matcha is used for making matcha lattes or enhancing cocktails, desserts, porridges, and yogurts. Ceremonial matcha has a milder and slightly sweeter taste, while classic matcha has a richer flavor, as its leaves are more mature.
