My first attempt at protein-rich bagels was a success 🥯 They came out delicious, so here’s the recipe for you to try.
Cooking instructions:
- Mix one cup of whole wheat flour with 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder and a pinch of salt. Then add one cup of Greek yogurt and knead the dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 parts, shape each into a rope, and join the ends together. Place on baking paper.
- Beat one egg and brush it over the bagels.
- Top with sesame seeds and a sprinkle of salt.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 190°C
Tip: If you use regular wheat flour, the bagels will be softer, but I opted for a more nutritious version, and they turned out delicious.
