Matcha is a fine powder made from the leaves of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis). It naturally contains caffeine and the amino acid L-theanine, a combination that can support sustained energy and focused, creative work.

Our matcha comes from Japanese tea farms in Kagoshima, Miyazaki and Shizuoka, where tea-growing expertise has been cultivated for decades and traditions are passed down from generation to generation. This care ensures matcha with a rich, vibrant colour, a distinctive aroma and a smooth taste.

We’ve taken the matcha you love and enriched it with delicate notes of vanilla. They soften matcha’s flavour and add a warm, creamy sweetness. Vanilla pairs beautifully with any type of milk, allowing you to make a café-style latte in just two minutes – without a load of sugary syrups. Enjoy it hot or over ice.

About the ritual

The freshness of matcha with a creamy touch of vanilla

Of all our limited-edition flavoured matchas, this one undoubtedly left the biggest impression. Loved by our community, it was a flavour we knew deserved to be perfected even further.

Our focus group confirmed what we had hoped: this flavour is perfect not only for devoted matcha lovers looking to try something different, but also for those who haven’t quite warmed to traditional matcha yet, thanks to its sweeter taste.

This is a gently sweet take on our matcha, made with Japanese green tea and endrinched with a warm hint of vanilla.

    How to use?

A matcha latte in two minutes – with a gentle touch of vanilla

Enjoy café-style flavoured matcha at home in just two minutes, without a load of syrups.
Simply mix 1 heaped teaspoon (3 g) of matcha with 50 ml of hot water (up to 80°C). Whisk using a traditional matcha whisk or a milk frother until smooth.

    Any questions?

Can matcha be used during pregnancy and lactation?

It is not recommended to exceed 150-200mg of caffeine per day during pregnancy. A cup of matcha contains about 40-60mg of caffeine, so it can be used in moderation if your doctor does not suggest giving up caffeine completely.

    Does matcha have caffeine?

Yes, matcha contains about 40-60 mg of caffeine per serving, but unlike coffee, matcha also contains the amino acid L-theanine. It slows down the release of caffeine – softening its effects and promoting relaxation.

Instead of the quick caffeine spike followed by an energy crash, like with coffee, the energy from matcha is released more slowly and steadily. This is why matcha provides a sense of calm alertness. Additionally, caffeine and L-theanine working together can help improve focus for tasks that require cognitive effort.

How many cups of matcha can I drink per day?

A cup of matcha contains about 40-60 mg of caffeine. It is recommended not to exceed 400 mg of caffeine per day.

What region of Japan is this matcha from?

Matcha comes from the Kyoto region of Japan – one of the best matcha-producing regions in the world.
