    FAQ

    Any questions?

What is spinach powder and how do I use it?

It is 100% freeze-dried spinach frozen at low temperature so it keeps its vitamins A, C and K, fibre and calcium. 10 g of powder equals about 100 g of fresh spinach. Add a few teaspoons to fruit or vegetable smoothies, porridge or yoghurt for a nutrient and colour boost, and keep it below 60 °C to protect the nutrients.

Why buy spinach powder instead of fresh spinach?

Because it will not spoil after a few days in the fridge. Freeze-dried spinach keeps its nutritional value - antioxidants, vitamins and minerals - and with 10 g equal to about 100 g of fresh leaves, one 100 g pack is roughly a kilogram of spinach on standby in your cupboard. It is a single ingredient, 100% spinach, so a spoonful in a smoothie does the job of a handful of leaves without the washing, wilting or waste.

Which Daily Spoon blend contains spinach?

For Gut Bliss, our bestselling green ritual, uses the same freeze-dried spinach together with spirulina, chia seeds, Jerusalem artichoke, ginger and Ceylon cinnamon. It turns spinach into a complete morning habit: 2 teaspoons in a large glass of water before food, with a squeeze of lemon.

What should I pair spinach powder with?

Green smoothies first: spinach powder disappears behind fruit, so pair it with our blueberry or raspberry powder for a smoothie that tastes of berries, not greens. It also stirs into soups, omelettes and savoury pancake batter. For a fuller green glass, combine it with spirulina.

Can Daily Spoon products be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Every pregnancy is different, so please talk to your doctor before adding anything new to your diet - especially food supplements. Every ingredient is listed in full on the pack, so you can review it together. If you're looking for gentler options from our range, our Banana Vanilla Protein is made without adaptogens, while Wild Marine Collagen contains just one ingredient, with nothing added. Matcha can also be an alternative to coffee, offering a gentler caffeine boost when enjoyed in moderation.

Are Daily Spoon products suitable for vegans?

Almost all our ingredients are plant-based, with two exceptions: the keratin in the Hair ritual, which is of animal origin, and the wild marine collagen, which is made from wild fish skin. Those two products are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians, and the collagen is not suitable for anyone with a fish allergy.

What allergens are in the products?

Every allergen is listed in the allergen statement on the pack - please check it, and if you have a severe allergy, talk to your doctor before trying anything new. The wild marine collagen is made from fish, so it is not suitable for anyone with a fish allergy, and our Chai Latte Drink for Immunity contains oats.

Can I use several Daily Spoon products at the same time?

Absolutely! You can enjoy several Daily Spoon products as part of the same daily routine. The taste-neutral ones, like Wild Marine Collagen and Creatine, blend perfectly together in your matcha, protein shake or any drink of your choice. If you're mixing products with different flavours, we'd recommend enjoying them separately.

How should I store the products?

Tightly sealed, in a dark, cool place. There is no need to keep the products in the fridge - only Gut Prime and Matcha are best stored refrigerated. Check each pack's own storage line when you open it.

What is the shelf life of the products?

The best-before date is printed on every pack - check it when you open a new product. Unopened, our products keep from 6 months to over 2 years depending on the product - each pack carries its own date. Once opened, keep the pack tightly sealed, dry and away from light.
