Our ceremonial matcha is a premium-grade, rich and naturally sweet traditional Japanese green tea made from the young leaves of the first harvest. Only the softest tea leaves are carefully hand-selected. Stems and veins are then removed to reduce bitterness and ensure an exceptionally fine powder. The leaves are naturally dried and stone-ground using traditional Japanese granite mills into a vibrant green powder.
To create a summer-inspired flavor, we chose blackberries – they add a light freshness and a subtle, naturally perceived sweetness that complements the taste of matcha.
If you want to enjoy a refreshing iced blackberry matcha, simply mix 2 teaspoons (3 g) of matcha with ⅓ cup of hot water (up to 80°C) and whisk using a matcha whisk or milk frother. Then add ⅔ cup of cold milk and finish with ice cubes.
This matcha also pairs perfectly with lemonade instead of milk, if you want to make a sparkling matcha.

Yes, matcha contains about 40-60 mg of caffeine per serving, but unlike coffee, matcha also contains the amino acid L-theanine. It slows down the release of caffeine – softening its effects and promoting relaxation.
Instead of the quick caffeine spike followed by an energy crash, like with coffee, the energy from matcha is released more slowly and steadily. This is why matcha provides a sense of calm alertness. Additionally, caffeine and L-theanine working together can help improve focus for tasks that require cognitive effort.
