Hand on heart, this is the easiest and most nourishing crumble recipe 🫐 A juicy berry filling with chai spices and a crunchy nut-and-seed topping.
Ingredients
- 400 g frozen berries
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp Immunity Blend
- 1 cup rolled oats
- Nuts and seeds of your choice
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 heaped tbsp nut butter
- A pinch of salt
Cooking Instructions
- In a baking dish, combine 400 g of frozen berries (I use a mix of blueberries and raspberries) with 1 tsp chia seeds, 2 tbsp coconut sugar, and 2 tbsp of the Immunity Blend. I use it like a mix of cinnamon, cloves and cardamom to add a subtle gingerbread flavour.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of rolled oats with your choice of nuts and seeds. I use sliced almonds, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds and pecans. Stir in 2 tbsp maple syrup, 1 heaped tbsp nut butter and a pinch of salt.
- Spread the oat mixture evenly over the berries and bake at 180°C for 30–40 minutes, until the berries are bubbling and the topping is golden and crisp.
- Serve with cream or Greek yogurt, as desired. 🍦
