About the product
For those who want to experience an authentic Japanese tea ceremony at home, a handmade whisk (chasen) will allow you to do just that.
Made with traditional methods, from solid bamboo and with 80 prongs, this whisk is designed not only to thoroughly whisk matcha tea, but also to enjoy its preparation.
How to use it
Firstly, soak matcha whisk in warm water for 10 seconds. Then start using quick but gentle movements to whisk matcha and some water by drawing the letter M. Avoid scraping the bristles over the bottom of the bowl or a cup – stir the matcha by gently dipping the whisk.
After each use, rinse it with warm water, remove matcha powder from the bristles and leave to dry completely. After a few uses, the matcha bristles will loosen – this is a natural process.
